Different yet the same.

Yes, I know.. it sounds contradictory, but that's what it is - different, yet the same. The previous Metal Slug games are, as you all know, are not created in a 3D format. What's different about this game is obviously the graphics. That's probably what separates this game from the rest of the series. In my opinion, I think the the people that contributed towards the Metal Slug series knew that eventually, it would come to a point where the seemingly repetetive gameplay would bore the consumers, so they had to change some aspect of the game in order to distract the buyer from the boring gameplay, so they changed the graphics.. This game has been heavily anticipated due to the 3 dimensional graphics, but when you really think about it, it's just the same book with a new cover.
