Metal Slug 3

It really takes a special kind of game to be able to retain a hard core quality of difficulty platform challenge for 22 years. A game where, even on the EASIEST level of difficulty, you'll STRUGGLE to beat the game with 99 lives and NOT using any continues! A game where the bosses will offer no mercy, and the grunts won't rest for a MINUTE to give you any breathing room! This game, released at the tail-end of SNK's life of a video game company; was determined to pull out ALL the stops on what was intended to be the grand finale for the "Metal Slug" video game franchise! You'll have to plow through five stages with hard core bosses, who move erratically and fire at you even MORE erratically! This is a game where you need to either fire FAST, or you will DIE faster! The graphics from the original 32 bit arcade engine, fires on all it's cylinders, to deliver one of the most adrenaline filled experiences to be had on ANY video game system! The music, sound, and controls are all pretty good to; my only complaint is the cheap zombie enemies you have to face, who have an attacking move that's pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to avoid, and led to many cheap deaths! If you can beat this game WITHOUT using any continues, consider yourself a TRUE video game pro! I did, and I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for what is arguably the high mark, of the "Metal Slug" video game franchise! Enough said, true believers!
