Addicitve and extraordinarily hard...

If anybody ever told you that this game is a breeze, then they were lying like a chronic liar. Don't believe them, I mean. The lengthy levels makes this game so hard that I screamed my head off in frustration sometimes. The final level took me a month to beat.

The level of detail that was put into this game is amazing, though. The animation creates a mood of cartoon-ish violence and general craziness. I love the vehicles and all the different paths through each level adds a sense of real replay to the main arcade game.

The other extras are pretty cool, such as being able to play as the enemy is really fun. You finally get to play as one of the guys you so mindlessly blow away with your gun. The rest of the extras are interesting and being able to see all the soldiers you rescued really makes you want to beat the game all over again.

This game is just mindless, side-scrolling fun. It's is definitely a nice look back to the past.
