Here's what I did. I turned on my Pink Floyd and turned on my PS2. I set aside an afternoon to try my hand at the game I had just rented, which was this one. I started playing it. I saw all the different characters and thought: "sweet!" I was all ready for another game like Metal Slug 3 on Xbox, but was disappointed. By what, you ask? Oh, just one thing. The infinite lives. Yes. I did say infinite lives. It steals away everything this game had going for it. I beat the two in about an evening of playing. The games are exactly the same as they were, but for the lives. If only they had left it untouched, maybe I would have bought it. I was sorely disappointed.
There’s not really much I can say about this game, you get exactly what you’re expecting. You get Metal Slug 4 & 5, nothing more and nothing less. If you’re a fan of the series then you’ll definitely enjoy this game. ... Read Full Review
