The first thing that one thinks about when they hear the word "Metal Slug" is a side-scroller\shooter with lots of weapons, lots of vehicles to ride and lots of prisoners to save but honestly Metal Slug goes beyond the call of duty to entertain it's players. The gameplay is arcade perfect as the box implies (tho with Metal Slug 1 it felt kinda stiff, maybe it's just me), The sounds and Graphics are Great, tho I did notice a few graphical glitches while playing Metal Slug 6 with the shadows. But honestly, for the money your paying for all 7 games in one Disc you really cant go wrong, every game has infinite replay value (if your trying to beat the game while saving as many prisoners as possible, or do the impossible and beat each game without dying). All in all this game is another great adition to the PS2 while the PS2 has live in it.
