If you haven't heard of metal slug then you should play this game..just remember the neo geo version is 3 times as fun

The first metal slug game I played was metal slug X...but for the real neo geo aes...it was just on an emulator which didn't even put the graphics out right and it was blown up a bit so it was pixelated...but even then when I played the playstation version the emulated neo one looked like twice as good. you can't really expect any more than playstation jaggies and bad animation on this hardware...obviously the original neo geo was expensive for a reason. there is some lag issues...especially on the final mission on the weird swirling bridge.
so those were the technical issues. as far as the games content...the default setting has infinite lives and you'll beat the main game in less than half an hour..so at that right there I tell you DON'T EVER BUY THIS GAME...especially if its over $5.00 or you collect stuff. If I were you I'd just download and burn the game or run it in an emulator if I was you. I'm not saying this game is crap...its basically the best side shooter I've played and its hilarious but its not worth paying for just half an hour. basically this game is a good introduction to the neo geo games and is a good poor mans fix since the neo geo's goes for like 800 bucks on ebay.

VERDICT: don't pay much if anything for this, play two player, make sure to play the real neo geo FIRST cause you'll Finnish this one no matter what....oh and its a good game for a girlfriend..mine loved that it was short and she could complete it with me.
