I was definitely surprised at how well this handled mech-combat compared to most games that are out as of recent. This game had features such as choosing from a list of at least 5 different mech's which each had their own abilities and weakness. The maps gave varied locals in which to fight, such as space, a mech factory, and a volcanic pit, just to name a few. One of the cooler things you could do was the ability to summon a new mech mid-battle and actually control your character by getting out, flying around, and jumping into the mech you just summoned. Or, if you're feeling suicidal, you could try fighting with a hand gun against your metal enemy, which suffice to say, is usually what your forced to do when after you eject from your machine right before it's destroyed. Another cool first this game had was the ability to play one on one multiplayer, where you and a buddy could suit up and fight against each other in person to person, mech to mech combat, or person to mech combat. I give this a definite 9.5/10 due to the fact that it's undoubtedly a major inspiration for mech-oriented games, and that it's still more fun than half the crap that's put out on store shelves nowadays. This is a definite own for SNES enthusiast's as wells as fans of Mechanized-combat.
