This is one of the games that I think if the developers even played the game? Stunning graphics, Bad AI,cheesy gameplay
Graphics and atmosphere is very realistic and doomy but it's the only thing looks real in this game. Guns, equipment and enviroment is perfectly designed and shown. Except voiceacting the sounds are great. But AI is crawling. You may stand in front of the enemy and still get no reaction. There's no balance in killing enemies. You may shoot them in the face with shotgon or just a pistol but nothing happens. Body parts and gun damage are not balanced when killing.
(Just keep shooting directly at the enemy and they will fall after some time)
For gameplay, you don't get the feeling of shooting enemies. They don't get any reaction to gunshot. And if this is a shooting game you get few good action scenes satisfies you and the rest goes for fallowing guys and getting into other places.
The enviroment is designed to be very realistic and dark but that amount of darkness and complexity may couse problems on finding paths and eyesight.
Cut scenes are wisely created and used but it's sometimes boring when you get them too much especially only walking to some distances in the game instead of action.
The final chapter is the worst part of the game. (Spoiler) You find yourself only climbing and seeing illusions of walking towards a light. It's not even fun to play.
As a conclusion, this game has awsome graphics, character and item designs, a very realistic enviroment but it's barely fun to play.
