Great addition to the series.

As most metroid fans all know and love the 2D games then you should buy it. The advancements over the years in 2D metroid have really made this one a hit with the new upgrades, bosses, and story. Samus is apparently on a space station with the mutinous X virus after being infected and cured herself. With the way the game starts, the tension will build as you get closer and closer to the end and your usually always like "What will happen next?" play the game and you will find your answer. The game offers many new enemies to defeat along the way and get harder and harder as the story progresses. You'll find the normal missile, energy, and power bomb tanks for upgrades along the way to help so that things get a bit easier. Small pieces of the story may confuse some but will be understandable over time. A fun game for all metroid fans, this game willingly and intentionally deserves my solid 9.0.
