I started off about three years ago from this current day playing another game on a system with Graphics that look like they are from the early to mid-ninties. If you don't expect old school graphics from a game that is on a weak last generation console then you don't have a GBA and you won't be reading this review. So I think as far as graphics go they are a 9/10 for a good shiny sidescroller.
The weapons in this game are really standard you will have just two different shots to choose from, but throught the game these shots will be upgraded based on how far you need to go.
The hardest part of this game is the bosses. Some of the bosses took me more then 10 even 20 times to beat. If you get enough upgrades it makes the boss battles a little easier, but still it is a challenge.
The only down side of this game is the adventure part of the game focuses too much on blowing up secret walls to find secret areas and not enough on blowing stuff up.
I loved the story and the atmosphere of the game. Like all the other Metriod games this game gives you a feeling of loneliness and the feeling that there is something now quite right. The backround music which changes to fit the mood really adds to the atmosphere.

This game is a great value and is a must for all metriod lovers who own a GBA.
