Great game for all Metroid fans and fans alike. I think that it is a great game for the gameboy advance.
This game has good graphics for a gameboy advance game and the fun factor is there much in the same way as most Metroid games. It is easier to find your missiles and energy tanks as your map marks out secret areas and the use of the map is handy also.There is plenty of long term ability in the game as it is longer then Metroid 3 (Super Metroid on the SNES) and you can save it at certain points so if you die you can just respawn from your last save point. There are plenty of cool weapons to collect like missiles and super missiles as well as lasers and suits much like in other Metroid games. You can also climb up large walls and hang off ceilings when you get the upgrades which is a new an interesting and certainly helpful ability you get in the game.
The SR388 is out on the loose and you must avoid it as much as possible as it will kick your butt. Don't say I didn't warn you . Yes but there's plenty of boss battles. You don't have to play the other parts to fully undersand what is going but they are recommended for great gaming. All in all great not totally original but it is a fun addition to the metroid series. I give this a 9 because is it a great game to play and it makes a great 2 D shooter/ science fiction game so go play it.
