Fusions' motto: Quality over Quantity. Mayble a too little quantity, but worth it!
So I come upon this game and I hear it's pretty good... AND IT IS. Fusion is strangely very VERY tough. Even for a Metroid game. I'm seriously impressed by both the plot and the graphics too. Those aren't things Nintendo really focuses on.
Anyway, let's dive into the good parts:
Fusion starts off with Samus exploring SR388 (if you don't know what I'm talking about, go play Super Metroid). She's working with these Galactic Federation scientists and researching the animal life on SR388, when she suddently discoveres this previously unknown life-form (now called "X"). In a breif fight, the X Parasite decides to face-hump and infect Samus, leaving her to die.
Cool story, eh?
So, now the graphics: Pretty good for the GBA. Better than Super Metorid, and Samus is VERY well animated and drawn. The controls are very good, but they can take a while to get used to.
Now, for the bad:
Short. 6 hours maximum of game time. In video game minutes, that's like, 2. It's that small. Worth it, though.
So if you're up to the challenge of playing one of the toughest games on the GBA, be my guest. It's very good, and fun.
