I fell in love with this series all over again.

To start off. This Metroid has amazing story telling. It was like I was 8 again playing the original Metroid all over again. Everything I pictured how Samus would be is in this game. A quiet kick ass chick, who is alone most of the time, but has history. In other words depth. I always love games that gave charters a story because it always immerses you into the game. Other M has awesome story telling from the start.

Next the game. I wasn't a huge fan of the Prime series due to the first person aspect, but this game nailed it. There is a some first person aspect, but over all it felt what should have came out after Super Metroid. The controls could have been slightly tweaked, but after a few minutes they came easy. I'm not found of the pointing the Wiimote to shoot your missile, but it works. I think that this could have been fixed by giving the option to use the classic control. Other than that everything else was perfectly executed.

The graphics are awesome....did I mention that they are AWESOME. I'm usually not impressed with Wii game graphics. Mostly due to the Wii not using HD, but this game looks great, great, great. CG is on spot and in game graphics are superb.

My overall rating is a 9.7 because of the one flaw in the controls, but due to idiots posting that there was too much story telling (I can't understand why westerners don't like a good deep story). I give it a perfect 10!
