Metroid Prime 2 is a great new addition to the series. Taking most of it's gameplay feel from the first game, it still has plenty of original ideas. Fanboys will love the the how it has stuck to the series by way of storyline; with space pirates and metroids still blasting and sucking. New enemies such as Dark Samus jumping into the fray give some something for the anyone to like/dislike depending on your point of view. Graphics and sound remain as always top notch. Cavernouse areas have all the little details included with not a speck on the ground out of place. Sounds I admit are brought down just a little by the lack of voice-overs (except for the gurgling sound of the luminoth). Although I'm sure some people would kill the developers if they took that much of the mystery away from Samus.
