Samus takes me into her new adventures in the light and dark worlds of Aether.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is actually the best game I've played on my Gamecube. The only game which stands a chance against it is the legend game, Ocarina of Time.

I really love this game, I had no doubt of buying it when it was about to release, I didn't pre-order it either. But I was for sure to buy it. What makes this game so good to me? Well, it's "just" because... the whole thing is awesome. The story-line was just well good enough to make it a score a tenner, if not, a niner would be low enough. From the first Prime game, the story has changed a bit, it seems that it doesn't have anything with "Metroid" to do anymore, but still, it's just superb. But one thing might have a connection, it's when Dark Samus borns at the end of Metroid Prime from Metroid's liquidish substance, and now "she" comes to Aether for the phazon I think. And so, we'll meet her again.

The graphics is very good, but if you walk up close to the screen, you'll see that the graphic is just... bad... anyway, who sits that close to a screen? It's good though. There are more stuff on the visor now, like the ammo meter, which fills the screen a bit more than in the first Prime game.
The sound is very good, doesn't lag a lot... actually, not at all. And the sound sounds good as well, not very bassy and not very treblish, so it's equal. It sounds really good if you set it to 'surround' mode... if you have more than 4 speakers. I've got 8 speakers as we have a home cinema.
The gameplay is just the best thing, it's quite easy though, but that doesn't really matter. The bosses are sometimes the most annoying thing in the game, some can really hold me back an hour, which is the 'Boost Guardian', I really have to admit that the 'Boost Guardian' is the hardest boss in the game. But the rest of the things are really nice, it's interesting when the game has a % count of your items and scans, which can make the game harder to you. But I make sure I've scanned every single thing as I progress in the game.
There are four worlds in this game: Temple Grounds, the first area you'll encounter yourself on and it's the area which leads you to all the other worlds (including the Great Temple which is not exactly a world); Agon Wastes, it's the desert-like world which is the second world you'll go to; Torvus Bog, the swamp land; and Sanctuary Fortress, the Luminoth's fortress high on the mountains, is the last world you'll seek through.
Also a reminder, each world has its own "dark side" which you can enter through Luminoth portals, as it can act as 8 worlds in the game.

So it's a game every GC owner should have. That's my recommendation.
