if you dont have a gamecube, metroid prime 2 echoes is the reason for you to buy it
when i finally bought it i was completely amazed by its great enviroments and graphics, i have never played a game that good in first person view. i played 007 and the others i liked them but i never bought em they were fromsome friends:P
but the thing is that you dont need to be a fan of metroid series to enjoy metroid echoes. wow when i first started the game samus is at front of his spaceship and it looks completely normal, but when i entered into another room and it appeared some plants that move wow there i felt in another planet that the game ewasnt going to be normal, you really feel as if you are in another planet, the environments are really well detailed. creatures are very varied and have their debilities, is not only push A button as fast as you can, you need to know about weaknesses in the creatures and use wisely your beams and visors for looking for weak spots or to attack himin a better way. theere is also many puzzles mainly being in morphball, i love samus morphball.
you can even win armors for samus. and beams and visors and expansions for missiles, and abilities like the screw attack, i spend nearly 25 hours to get 85 percent of scans and items i havent even get it at 100% yet! you need to use your visors your map, your weapons wisely to find the hidden items that are very well hidden.
the best thing in this game are the boss fights, damn those aliens are big! and dificult to defeat ! its a challenge each time you fight with another boss because it can be under water or in dark aether that its atmosphere is so toxic that your life is decreasing constrantly, its a real challenge and if you dont put your brain to work you'll never beat those aliens or robots or whatever type of mutation they are. the game offers a huge gameplay time, they are so many good things in this game, that you should play it and see for yourself what is a true shooting game! if u have a gamecube and u dont have this game you are insane, you need to play it seriously.
