this game is really cool i dont see why it was rated lower than the first one
story
samus aran recives a sos from a fedreal marrine gun ship which has crashed on the planet ather. when samus arrives she finds all the marrines are either zombies (they scared the hell out of me!) or dead corpses. she then finds that they have been attacked by ing (residents of the dark side of ather). she then finds out that the world is split into 2 worlds dark and light (were the atmosphere BURNS !!) becuase of the phazon ateroid that crahed into aehter. i wont say any more just incase i spoil it but the story is much better than the first metroid prime
graphics
WOW they are the words that came 2 m ind as i first saw samus aran land on aether in her ship. they graphics really are top notch and fare surpase the first in the series. the enviroments are amzing and the detail on the monsters rivals that of the x-box 360 (opps im gonna get hate mail 4 saying that :S)
sound
really indulges you into the atmosphere (epeically when you play at 4 a.m)
the songs used sometimes are so good that i actually just turn on the game to listen to them
gameplay
just like the first game but i find that it is slighty more smoother than the first
