Still as good as ever.

User Rating: 9.6 | Metroid Prime 2: Echoes GC
Metroid Prime 2 is an excellent example of what the metroid series can and continues to do. The first Metroid Prime is quite posssibly the best game of this generation and MP2 continues that tradition. The first thing Prime players will notice is the feeling that this is an extension of the first game, but in a good way. Retro does an excellent job of changing enough to keep you interested but not so much that it feels like a completely different game. Prime 2 continues the adventures of Samus Aran on the disturbed planet of Aether, and, as always, finds herself in a much deeper conflict than was described to her. The story isnt great, but its good enough to keep you guessing. This game, not unlike the first, has an excellent mix of puzzle solving, exploring, and alien killing action. In the meantime this is very long game and the 10-20 hours I listed was for me and could be potentially a lot more for a first time 3D primer or someone who just takes longer than myself. Personally I think Gamespot review on this one is far too low. Simply put, If you have a Gamecube, you need to buy this game.
