Metroid Prime 2 delivers all a Metroid fan wants, and is one of the best GCN games ever

When Metroid Prime come out in November 2002, the game spoke to me, with the amazing graphics engine and awesome gameplay. I knew that game was going to be legendary. When hearing about Metroid Prime 2, I was a little worried on how it would turn out, my mind kept saying, "this game is not going to be as good", then i played it..... I was amazed, completely better than the first one, with beautiful graphics, better music, and it was way more interesting. The graphics are definitely more colorful and lively, and the level design is awe-inspiring. The Dark world gets even better, you notice how they made it seem like a toxic waste land, with dark mist and sand moving. The gameplay isnt much different than the first, which is good. But there are different guns and visors including the Light Beam, Dark Beam, Echo Visor, and many more. The sound was great, with upbeat music when you are in a huge battle, like in the first game. I was really impressed with the boss battles, especially the third one. There were many parts to it, first blowing off its four legs, then using the echo visor to damage the head, then boosting on to its head and blowing it up with bombs, all taking a extremely long time for me. The only small part I was a little disappointed on was the multiplayer. Yes it can be fun most of the time, and I wasnt expecting much, but the it needed way more modes and way more levels, but the multiplayer doesnt effect much, and it can be fun with 3 or 4 people. I am totally satisfied with this game and how Retro Studios and Nintendo put it together. Metroid Prime 2 delivers all a Metroid fan wants, and is one of the best GCN games ever. I have gladly seen people fall in love with Metroid Prime, because of Metroid Prime 2, and hope to see more from Retro Studios.
