Metroid prime is a first person shooter that used to be a side scrooling game back on the super nes. I have to say the transition was done excellent and it is a rather enjoyable game. The story is very long and engaging and the boss fights can be quite challengeing. Don't think that this is game is going to be a cake walk because there are going to be times when you get mad and don't understand some of the puzzle but what can you expect from a metroid game they all were very challengeing. You will spend most of your time walking around vast environments collect power ups that continue your adventure. Everything about this game is great and thats why it deserves an excellant score.
