Metroid Prime is one of the greatest games I've ever played with a huge world to explore and incredible graphics and sound. Though the game is played from a first-person perspective the game is an adventure one rather than an action game just like its predecessors. The main draw of the game is exploring the immersive atmospheric world, finding new creatures and secrets. The visors are al very cool and well-implemented into the game as are the variety of weapons you gain. Graphically the game stands-out with both technical greatness and great design of environments. the sound too adds a lot to the experience in both the effects and the ambient noise/music. I cannot really put my finger on anything I didnt like in this game and any GameCube owner should have this. The end boss battle is difficult but not overly and the boss battles throughout (actually all battles) are engaging and entertaining as each creature has its weaknesses and strenths. The only problem most people will have is the lack of a dual analog control scheme which prevents you from moving and looking simultaneously but the game is not an FPS but an asventure so the scheme really fits the game in my opinion.
