Best First person shooter of its time.

This game goes above and beyond my expectations for a first person shooter. I didn't even mind playing as a woman in a super suite as the game went on. The main weapon used in this game is impressive, with every different beam the gun takes a different shape.
My favorite weapons of all were the missle+beam combos. Each beam created it's own unique combo attack with excellent results in graphics and enemy damage.
The different difficulties made this game challenging and addictive for those as persistant as me. Though multi-player would have made it much better this is an all around must have.
