A game no nintendo fan should be without. A mix of adventure and a FPS view give the metroid series new life.
People forget what the gamecube can do graphicaly. Metroid Prime is on par with Halo in graphics, game play, and atmosphere.
The sound in Metroid Prime is amazing. It's so well done, you can tell what enemy is near you just by the sound it makes. The game can sometimes fell like a horror game. The sound and music gives you the feeling that your all alone, and enemies might be close by.
The games graphics bring to life an alien world, that spands winter tundra, magma caves, and tropical paradise. The weather effects also bring a sense of life to the enviornments, you can see the rain going down Samus's visor.
Metroids control set-up is different from most FPS. You do more exploring than shooting, but when you do get to the shooting it gets intense.
The number of native animals is staggering. The more animals you scan the more art galleries you unlock. Along with the native life, there are some massive boss battles. I wont spoil them for you, it's something you must do yourself.
Metroid Prime is one the best games of this generation, and should not be passed by. You MUST play this game.
