One of the best FPS experience even though it's not really a FPS

I am a first person shooter fan, so this comes as a compliment when I view metroid prime as one of the best FPS I've played even though it's more like a first person adventure. Almost 4 years after the game is released and the gameplay still hasn't aged a bit -- certainly a great indicator that it's living up to be one of the greatest game ever made. Superb and very smooth graphic presentation, atmosphere, some really amazing music and sound effects, controls, best boss battles in any FPS ever, long game length, etc. Only complaint is the ambigious backtracking near the end, but it's relatively minor. I hate backtracking but it's not that bad in this game since the levels are so well designed.
