Everything you would want from an adventure styled game with first person view and guns.
The graphics are great, and the way things work with the graphics are great, too. If something gives out a bright flash near, like an explosion, the lighting kicks in. If bright enough, you’ll see the reflection of Samus’s face in the visor. If you jump out of water or lava, the water or lava drips down your visor. On Tallon overworld, the rain drips on your visor, also, and it looks real. Sometimes steam will be blown all over your visor. Another real nice thing is the weapons, especially the arm cannon’s looks for different weapons, and when changing between them. The ice beam looks real nice, and when you freeze things, they look real. The plasma beam sets things on fire, which also looks great. The physics of the game are just right, too. Whether you are jumping from place to place, or being thrown to the side by the enemy. The jumping of the game is so good, you’ll be able to figure out just how far you can jump on any occasion. The game-play is what you’d want from a game, you start out with only a few things, and all the upgrades come through out the whole game. The more power-ups you get, the more places you can go, and the more secrets you can find. It becomes interesting to get new things, like missile/beam combos, and visors.
The music and sounds for the game are great, they definitely suit whatever mood the game wants you to feel, and the enemies all sound different. You also get different sounds out of different materials that you are stepping on. The game’s hard mode is something most people will definitely want to try, or some may just go back and do the original game again. About 20-25 hours of game-play, and you’ll enjoy it all. Exploring may be the main point of the game, but it has its own puzzles and shooting sides to it. Don’t take my word for it, try the game!
