Retro did an amazing job on converting Samus from the 2D world into the 3D one. Metroid Prime exceeded all my expectations. The graphics in the game are quite possibly the best on the Gamcube right now, once you get past the initially awkward controls the gameplay is awesome, the music in the game toys with your emotions, making you pumped up or scared and lonely when it needs to. The other sounds in the game suit the environment and creatures around you. Metroid Prime has an amazing replay value...I've beat the game several times over and yet I keep playing it. Simply put...Metroid Prime is the best game on the Gamecube, period.
