An acceptable remake of a Nintendo Classic.
Pros:
+ Beautiful graphics applied to old game.
+ Cool "video" sequences help push story forward.
+ Unlockables after completing the game
+ More content than original.
Cons:
- Random final boss... What's up with that?
- When you beat it, it doesn't feel like you have
- Shorter than I expected
Neutral:
* A LOT easier than the original
* Fans might be disappointed by the Ridley Fight (very easy)
Story:
This is the mission that started it all for the Samus Aran Chronicle (hence the name). Samus is assigned to infultrate the Space Pirate's base on the planet Zebes to stop them from using Metroids, life absorbing parasites, as weapons, and to destroy the leader of the Space Pirates, the Mother Brain... etc.
Sound:
All of the original tunes that made the original Metroid memerable are all here and revamped for the gameboy.
Gameplay:
Zero Mission involves a lot of side scrolling and back tracking. The gameplay is similar to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, where often you will need to remember key locations to return to once you have obtained the required power up/ skill.
~~~~~~~ All in all, I would recommend this game to anyone ~~~~~~~~~
