A must play for all fans of helicopter shooters!

M.I.A. is an ambitious and highly entertaining 3d helicopter shooter aiming for a semi-realistic experience of the Vietnam war. Your alter ego Captain Mann enlists for four increasingly difficult tours of duty in which he gets to man a number of different historical helicopters such as the Huey, Cobra and Chinook. Each mission is introduced by FMV video C&C style. The acting of course isn't up to Hollywood standard but still does a good job of immersing you into the story, whether you are talking to your nut-job commanding officer at the forward airbase or dining with the CIA on a secluded ranch.
Gameplay boils down to a big map stuffed with things that can be blown up. Most of the time you will be out above the jungle although some tense missions see you flying over Saigon. You will be facing infantry, trucks, tanks, even trains, boats and helicopters as you raid enemy bases, deploy rangers or escort convoys. The action is very much in your face and you have a hefty arsenal of cannons, door gunners and rockets at your disposal. Put simply, this is a blast to play!
