The difficulty level and lack of a clear instruction manual make this simulator a waste of time. Stay away!

I'd love to provide a clear, detailed review of this flight simulator but I can't simply because I can't seem to get this program to work! Sure, it installed correctly and I can start the simulator and begin a flight; however, after that, I have asolutely NO control over the aircraft. You could blame that on me and say it's "operator error"...but...
I have MS Flight Simulator X and have used that with NO problems whatsoever. I use a Saitek AV8R-01 joystick and Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals and I have never had ANY compatibility issues with that hardware and FSX. I have tried several times to get Flight Deck 5 to function and no matter how I configure the hardware or software, once the flight starts I have NO control over the airplane at all. On top of this frustration, there is no guidance from any booklet or manual included with the discs!

Bottom line: Operator error or not, this flight sim/game/program simply should NOT be that difficult to set up and use. For the price this flight sim costed when I bought it new, it should work just as reliably and intuitively as Microsoft's Flight Simulator X--but it doesn't.

Don't waste your time or money on this flight sim...it's more trouble than it's worth.
