No doubt this game takes a familiar formula from other games like AC and Batman games. The truth is most game do this, why? Cause when a formula for a gameplay works, it can be use to create games that can use that formula and feel right and thats how this game felt to me.
For me almost all first person shooters feel the same, most rpg from the past and some now feel the same, megaman and metroid and most 2d indi games feel the same. Open world games like prototype and GTA and red dead felt the same. Do i care? no, as long as they add something to make they game distinguish from the other and that element is fun (like the nemisis system) im fine with it.
That being said yes i love to taste new gameplays and new ways of playing and i think developers should keep experimenting and trying new stuff even thought there is much you can do with ONE CONTROL.
The story was intresting, but it felt like they got lazy in some aspects specially at the end with the last 2 boss battles. Good thing both main characters are very interesting and i wanted to find more and more about them.
For me this game, with his gameplay and the nemesis system felt like the ultimate LOTR experience and i want more, sadly it seems like there is gonna be more but in DLC and i do not support DLCs. A sequel? if is even possible to expand the story more without compromising the original, well thats something ill definitely buy.
