Before midnight club 3 had benn released on the PSP, I had played it on the playstation 2 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience it had to offer. So, when i saw midnight club 3 was available on release day of the PSP i jumped at the chance to snatch up a copy. First impressions after 10 minutes were all directed to the games' awesome graphics. They are literally the same as the PS2's. Every detail of the PS2 version had been squeezed into this little, compact device. Absolutely every aspect of the PS2 version was present in the PSP. Right from every decal to every shortcut found in the 3 expansive cities. Right, this may all seem great but it what's underneath the skin that counts, and , well there isn't much. It has all the same races as the PS2 version but it lacks major aspect that all racing games should have...excitement. Atleast for the most part of the first city there is quite a bit of exciting and pulse raising races but that feeling is, unfortunately, lost in the later races. In all, midnight club 3 for the PSP may look the business but it just doesn't feel like a fast, thrilling racer. It lacks depth.
