User Rating: 8.5 | Midnight Club: Los Angeles PS3
...I mean, this all takes place in Los Angeles, one of the most famous American cities, then you also have real cars and part manufacturers, realistic feel for speed, reeputation, and customization. This game gives you unlimited customization (as far as vinyls go, at least), and plenty to do, such as missions, races, tournaments, looking for collectables, buying and customizing cars, doing time attacks, sight-seeing, trophies, and lots more. This game has online play, like most cool PS3 games. I have the complete edition of this game, and is slighty better, but not by much, but it's good to have. Some other cool things, you can go to RATE MY RIDE, where you can have your car shown off and bought (or not) and rate others cars and buy them (or not). You can also take snaps of your cars and publish them all in an album. This game to inexperienced and hardcore players alike in general is very hard, because you have to know your way around for shortcuts, you need to know how to drive in many different styles, slipstream, proper nitrous control, avoid cops and not get arrested, and more. From experience, I have learned that Midnight Club throws you some unexpected suprises and will never let you complete a race so easily, whether you crash into a random car that pops out of nowhere, or you make a jump and crash, or someone passes you at the last minute, and more. Overall, this game is fun, yet hard, was done well, and gives Midnight Club a new perspective. The only flaws: the drving experience isn't as I expected fully, some cars are missing from Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition & Dub Edition Remix and some Midnight Club worthy cars aren't included, there are only 2 SUVs (Range Rover Superchareged and Range Rover Sport), when you get chased by cops, if you're still for 1/2 a second you're automatically arrested, since in other games you have like 2 or 3 seconds, and more. But, other than those things, this game is fun , hard, has great customization, and is worth buying and playing, even though some flaws are in this game. I've had this game for a year and I'm trying to get all the trophies, cars, and more done. Right now I'm customizing some cars. Like, I have an EVO IX that has a JGTC livery and WBK (Wide Body Kit) and looks cool. Same goes for my 99 Skyline GT-R (which looks like the Calsonic Skyline) and my EVO X (which looks like the Ohlins race car, but I tweaked the decals a little).
