The backdrop to the whole story seems like a soap opra, but I'm not complaining. Deceit and betrayel line the plot but thats about as far as it goes. If you are in it for the story back out now. Also the side quests have pretty much nothing to do with anything, with the only bonus of walking away a few items richer. As for gameplay the unique style it brings to the DS is very refreshing and can enthrall you for hours, especially because the touchscreen features are excellent. To top that off you can also use the traditional controls, which is an ever refreshing option. However this game was ment to be played with a stylus. This game has very minmal flaws to it some of which being Touch Screen glitches here and there (which I feel I can credit most of that to Nintendo) as well as dificulty problems. By the difficulty problems I mean that some battles will take you seconds and will leave you feeling a little empty where as others may cause you headaches from the hours of failed attempts, and this is all within the same spot on the game. The difficulty jumps around a lot, but other then that it really does produce a fun and addicting affect.
