Clash of Heroes delivers a lengthy campaign built around engaging, addictive gameplay, resulting in an enjoyable RPG.

User Rating: 7 | Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes PC
Clash of Heroes is a game that can stand on its game mechanics alone. It's not often that the single draw for a game is its gameplay, and for that mechanic to hold up for the entire 20 hour campaign. But that's what it does. Clash of Heroes doesn't excel in every area, but it gives the player intriguing gameplay mechanics, and allows the player to experiment with and attune himself to them over the course of the narrative. The narrative is pretty typical (though it does come to a satisfying conclusion), and the generic soundtrack doesn't do anything to surprise. But this is one of those games that doesn't stand on anything other than that which makes it a game, and that one component is addictive and intriguing enough to keep the player coming back to find new ways of conquering opponents, and even some pretty awesome boss battles.

The Good: Core mechanics are awesome; sufficient modifiers of that gameplay thrown in to keep combat fresh; crisp, appealing artistic style; solid campaign

The Bad: Pretty typical soundtrack

The Ugly: Feels somewhat stripped outside combat
