Inspiring words from an inspiring game. Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! was certainly one of the most famous games for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and it's stood the test of time and remains one of the best. I remember when I first got this game. It was really hard to find, but after a month of searching and having my heart broken time and time again, my older cousin came through. So yeah, you play as 'Little Mac', some 17 year old kid who for some reason is fighting people twice his size and age. He was usually smiling, which is pretty weird when you consider he had that nasty Doc Louis breathing down his neck all the time, chasing him with bicycles, and pretty much riding his coattails. You may notice that some characters appear similar. Those silly video game creators tried to put one over on us by using the same bodies but changing the heads and color schemes! But we know the truth! This dastardly deed aside, here's the roster of boxers... Glass Joe - Easy! A good opponent to learn on Von Kaiser - A different style, but easy nontheless Piston Honda - The title holder of the first circuit. Don't think you're good if you beat him... Don Flamenco - LoL! Left and right, that's all I have to say! King Hippo - An actual hippo? The first time I fought him, he was hard... omg! Great Tiger - A joke! Hit that stupid flashy jewel Bald Bull - One of my favourite opponents. He's got real style Soda Popinski - This drunken dude is ready to fight. Are you? Mr. Sandman - If you thought Bald Bull was hard then you're dreaming... Super Macho Man - Honestly not that hard, just watch those haymakers Mike Tyson - There is no east way around the man. He's lean and mean and if you're not ready then you're dead! This was the Dynamite Kid before he was Iron Mike. When he just plowed through the boxing world with one punch. Don't think you have to watch your ears, just try and stay alive! I definitely suggest find a NES rom emulator and reliving the glory days of video gaming with this one. This is a game that will be remembered and cherished by all the true fans of NES, boxing, and Mike Tyson. It's a game that revolutionized what playing is today, a must have for all collectors!
