A solid game with memorable characters and lovely voice acting that is actually very awesome once you give it a go.

With very limited amount of rpgs on the psp system, its nice to have a game like Mimana Iyar Chronicles...a solid rpg with awesome in game voice acting, beautiful animated cutscenes and some very funny moments thats enough to make you overlook its few flaws. You play is Crais, a mercenary, who after losing a card game is given a mission by a little girl named Sophie to help her find a couple of precious gems. Sounds simple right, but we all know it never is....along the way you will uncover the mysteries of your past....meet some very beautiful and magically talented females who help you on your quest and even be given the ability to develop close relationships with them. It sounds like a game you have played before and anyone who is familiar with the Ar Tonelico series and the Star Ocean series will feel right at home with this game.
The Plus: Wonderful and consistent voice acting from start to finish; beautiful animated cut-scenes, memorable characters and a good story.
The Negative: Many Many Random Encounters, battle system can be a bit tedious and slow load time with enemy enounters.
Hopefully Mimana Iyar Chronicles will hold you over until Hexyz Force Arrives.
