Flaws
- There is almost no delay between each shot, and no auto-fire. Encouraging button mashing is one of the worst decisions a game creator can take.
- Never enjoyable: easy-peasy all the way through, excessively slow-paced, unreasonably repetitive, with uninspired and weak bosses, a childish level design… You name it.
- The special shots are randomly dropped by specific enemies. They shouldn’t, especially because the weird respawning mechanics don’t prevent item farming anyway.
Inconveniencies
- Money grinding is required to get many upgrades. Why? This is yet another nonsensical decision, considering there is zero chance to die in the process thanks to one of the upgrades, which unconditionally teleports you in the starting room.
- Resource-intensive: 25–30% of an i5-3350P CPU is way too much for a game that looks and behaves like the ones from the 16-bit era.
Dirty Tricks
- On a few occasions, the knockback is openly used to waste your time, by throwing you several rooms backwards (or in the lava, obviously).
