Full of awesome ninja fun
The game play is just right. Unlike a lot of games you play on the Wii, the controls are quite impressive. I had no problem jumping and fighting my way through hoards of samurai. It pleases me greatly to know i can play a game on the Wii and don't have to worry if i shake the controller will it actually do something. The use of the magic was fun and getting to possess animals was fun sometimes but it did get old after awhile. Trying to find the hidden items and different herbs and saving all the captured animals was a good challenge. To find everything in each level you must investigate the land with a good thorough search. I also like using each character you save and their own unique abilities. Each boss fight was also challenging in its own way you didn't just rush in and attack. Each boss fight had a different strategy to win and i thought that element gave this game a little more valuable.
Sometimes the camera angle was off and fighting the samurai through the bushes was a little difficult at times. Even though i thought the controls were right on for the most part i did have some trouble occasionally with the special attacks for some of the characters. Other than that the game was great.
One more note that makes the game great is the music and the environment. Overall i think Mini Ninjas was a surprise and I had way more fun with this fantastic creation that i initially thought. So two thumbs up and I hope more people will also have fun with kick butt ninjas.
