Definately not EA's finest work

So following the first hour of Faiths second outing, im pleased to say i've got a fairly good idea of how the story is going to play out, which, like the first is enjoyable and about the right length to stop the boredom that comes with the sloppy combat mechanics and slightly irritating characters. Without dragging this on too long, the combat is borderline atrocious, and if you aren't running, feels like your handling a small tank around a tight course. The enemies are completely brain dead, often waiting in the background for their a***'s to be handed to them. Ranged enemies seem to all be crackshots, totally realistic, but considering the game is designed for free running, it can be frustrating when your getting pumbled with bullets while trying to complete a quick run. Otherwise, the actual attacks (X, Y) feel okay, and surprisingly enjoyable when you land a roundhouse to the temple of a dopey melee enemy, causing him to fall off a rooftop. Characters just don't feel the same as the first, the relationship between Noah and Faith is there, but Noahs words feel very hollow. This goes for most characters in the game. The script is there along with the story, but it all feels a little like they were focused on the graphics and city design opposed to the game mechanics and story. Fortnately I picked it up on EA access, but certainly wouldn't advise paying more than £25 for it. Worth a try if your a fan of the first, just be aware that there are definately more issues than the two i've highlighted above. Have fun.
