Mirrors edge is a great game, face paced innovative and truely just something new/diffrent.

First off, i recommend you rent or try the demo of the game before you decide to invest any money. Not everyone will like mirrors edge or what it has to offer, some of you will feel that the game is lacking in gun play, or painfully difficult. The reality is that your not "a merc" you have no gun/weapons skills. Your player does have some martial arts experience however it is limited, to disarming and incapacitating enemy's. The real point to this game is free running, your meant to get from Point A to Point B in the most quick and efficient manner possible. As you tie together your movements you gain more momentum, allowing you to jump further and higher. All and all i think its a great game, it offers something new, a very face pased, heart pumping action packed type of game play, that isnt based on shooting, killing, blowing stuff up casting spells or all the regular features you expect a next gen action game to have. The reality of it is, you are a messenger, you can do many crazy things when it comes to the free running, but still your only human, bullets will kill you, very quickly in fact, so play smart, avoid the blues...
