remember those days guys going to the ball park smelling the hot dogs grilling and hearing all the chatter of other people when your walking to find your seats and when you see the bluest skies and greenest grass ever. Well whenever this time comes around theres something else you can count on. MLB 07: The Show. Last year this game did not disappoint so i was expecting great things from this years game. Just in case your new to baseball games its pretty simple the batting all you really need to do is hit the x button and it hits the ball pitching is a little harder pick either x, square, o, r1, or triangle to pick a pitch (each pitcher have different pitches from everyone else). GAMEPLAY-The most important part of the game the gameplay whats there to say about it besides its amazing. If you choose to start a franchise you are able to manage your roster do trades pick up freeagents and put players on the trading block. You are also able to manage the money for team like setting the prices of hot dog stands hot tub tickets or any fun stuff like that. If you choose to play the new Road To The Show you have to create a player and pick a team you would like to try and play for and then during spring traning you have to earn your spot on the team. You will play for your teams AAA team and have to work real hard to make the spot on the MLB team. The better you do the more traning points you get which you can use to obviously train your guy and make him better.
GRAPHICS- The graphics in this game are ok not the best but its a ps2 game so i really was not expecting much. All the stadiums are in the game and look just like there real life counterparts. The players have there own special was to pitch or bat witch are in this game.
SOUNDS-Sounds in this game are ok. The sound of the bat cracking is pretty nice touch and the sound of them running to the base trying to out run the throw is nice to. The Commentators are pretty good in this game they actually sound like they know what there talking about most of the time then theres sometimes where you have know idea what there talking about
VALUE-This game has alot of value i mean for me it was hard to get tired of this game easily i got really addicted to the Road To The Show and trying to get my guy better.
I really enjoyed last years version and this year The Show is back and better than ever. I am a serious baseball fan and this game brings home all the treats I need until the real season starts! The improved career mode,... Read Full Review
(Note: This is strictly a review of MLB: The Show’s Franchise mode.) I’ve been milking EA’s MVP ‘05 franchise mode for as long as possible, convinced that video game baseball could never get better. Finally broke down... Read Full Review
