After playing MLB 06 The Show, I was excited to get my hands on this. After buying the same game again, I wasn't too pleased. The new addition of base running in the Road to the Show may seem fun, but it begins to wear on you after about the 3rd time because its so time consuming. The running mechanics are a bit quirky. Its also a pain because its hard to judge from a runners view what the ball is doing. I didn't enjoy the new training system, where as before your attributes never decreased, now they do. So if you like to sim a few games and play some, you really won't get the player you want. I would say stick with the 06 version. I would say positive things about the game but if you've played MLB 06 The Show, I would be wasting your time. The new additions aren't good enough to drown out the poor effort in this game. This could've been a great game but it feels like they just got lazy.
