MLB09 is a very good game, but it still has some issues. They still have not fixed letting you know who is warming up in the visitor's bullpen. When I have a pitcher start to warm up, the announcer says" There is a righthander starting to warm up in the bullpen. There is no mention of the visitor's. When they make a pitching change, the mystery reliever comes into the game. This game is realistic, but the developers should not have missed that. It changes your strategy on using your bench and which pinch hitters to use. Maybe that is addressed in the PS 3 version. Also, other than graphics, what are the major differences between the PS2 and 3 games? Also, here are some ideas that I would like to see in future games.
1) Have Major League managers in the game, along with coachs giving signals at third base. It would be funny seeing Charlie Manual waddling out of the Phillies dugout and getting thrown out of the game. 2)Weather Conditions- wet fields, cold weather, possible rain outs 3) Some additional old time ballparks-( Tiger Stadium, Ebbetts Field, Astrodome, Veterans Stadium, Old Comisky Park, and like 10 old time teams(61 Yankees, 75 Reds, 69 Mets, 27 Yankees, 72 Athletics, 66 Dodgers
