A great game for both casual AND hardcore fans.

THE GOOD
No matter what mode you play on MLB 09 The Show you wont be able to stop for weeks. Road to the Show mode is updated and immersive as ever, while franchise mode adds a few new futures which complete the package. Graphics have been refined incredibly and the gameplay has been changed slightly with new base running controls. Creating a player is also very good, as well as the customizable soundtrack. Players are very well created, pitchers' windups are correctly portrayed, while batters have their batting habits portrayed as well. Hardcore fans will notice nice touches such as call-up options, monthly updates on player stats, as well as weekly updates on rosters.

THE BAD
Small visual glitch(running through people), Hard AI

BOTTOM LINE: Casual baseball fans should definitely check it out, while hardcore fans should even consider the option of buying a PS3 for it.
