Same proven formula with some nice additions!

Having picked up a PS3 last year and hearing how great the Show was, I picked up MLB 09 and was instantly wowed by the game. This is bar-none one of the few sport franchises left that isn't all flashy advertising and nonsense features, but on the contrary its a series that prides itself on a proven formula of great visuals, AMAZING attention to detail, and solid gameplay mechanics. Not to mention the LOAD of features you can play with in the game such as RttS and now the new Catcher Mode.
If I had to say what is lacking, it would still be the commentary, but even so it beats the hell out of most other sports titles and its only a weakness in the sense that this game excels in every other area so much that the few mistakes the game has stand out when you see/notice them.
If you enjoyed last years Show, this is a MUST buy and if you're a newcomer to the series, be ready to become a lifelong fan.
