More of the same, but all the tweaks make it the best MLB so far.

Despite all the announcements regarding the new features in this year MLB, it is basically the same game than the last two years. However, many annoying bugs has been corrected and tweaks has been made, making of MLB 11 the best of the serie so far.

Haven't tried the new analog pitching so far, but for me, the analog batting works great. I am way better at bat in this version, until the incredibly efficient adaptative AI adapted to my preferences at bat.

The analog fielding seems broken. I played a SS in my RTTS and I have commited 8 errors in a row trying to lob the ball to my 2nd baseman for a double play. Tried to tap the analog, go with full power, the results were the same. I switched back to buttons fielding and it is now very satisfying.

If you turn the auto-save option off, it also seems that loading times are shorter.

The animations, graphics and gameplay are awesome, as you would expect from MLB. Commentaries from Eric Karros sound a bit off, as if he was i a completely different studio, It kinds of break the immersion.

I really, really love the RTTS tweaks. They finally made it easier (for average player like me). You now have 60 days (instead of 30 days) before your skill drops and thanks to the new scoring system, you record more points as a position player, mainly based on how good your presences were. Gone are the bug where you get a -10 + being benched, being called out on a basestealing attempt, when the coach was asking for a hit and run.

Don't get fooled. This is pretty much the same game, but all the adjustments makes it the most enjoyable of the serie so far and I will certainly spend the upcoming months playing the best baseball experience on the market.
