I didn't expect much from MLB when I got it for Christmas. One, because it was made by 989 sports and I've always seen them as making the crappy sports games, and two, MVP Baseball has killed the competition in years past. That was before I sat down and played. The graphics are amazing, the sound is great, the extremely smooth gameplay and easy controls just make this game very enjoyable to sit down and play every night before you pass out. I played MVP and this game is much better, no doubt. My only complaint is that I can't get Jim Thome off the Phillies because of the roster management being limited to just Season mode, and where's the Home Run Celebrations? I want those next year and this game will be absolutely perfect. Peace.
