*Sigh* Well, another good game highly underappreciated.
This came is much, much better than that. I am a Gundam fan, and i've been one for almost 8 years. I haven't played many Gundam games, but I got this one today. I popped it in my PS2, and I instantly fell in love with it. I love Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny, but that don't mean nothin'. Now here's the lowdown.
You can play two different stories. The first one is set in the perspective of Earth Alliance coordinator Kira Yamato. The other follows ZAFT pilot Athrun Zala. They are the best of friends, but their organizations aren't. *sigh* I hate forced combat. Anyway, now to the critical stuff.
Story: 9/10. All I can say is this: If you hate spoilers, don't buy this game. Same as Gundam SEED, With the best story in Gundam History, but in my opinion, Gundam Wing is still the King.
Graphics: 8/10. The environments look like 3D versions of the show's locations. The Mobile Suits look like their anime counterparts. The likeness is uncanny. Some bland backgrounds here and there, but who cares?
Sound: 10/10. For those who hate the dub voices, stay away from this game and stop hatin'. Nice dialogue and music. Exceptional sound effects. If you like the voices, during battle, the explosions are loud. Hooray for explosions! *lights a stick of dynamite*
Gameplay: 7/10: Control scheme is crazy. You can change the controls to three settings. In my opinion, Scheme C works best for me. Space travel is fun, but the combo of the lock on feature+the camera+the scattered MS+the flying+the blasting and the fighting and blah blah blah, is kind of irritating, especially if you have to juggle between kicking enemy butt and saving your home ship. Partner system is good, but I think they should've put them in combat with you, so they won't leave you hangin'.
Unlockable Stuff: 10/10. Over 50 MS, a video gallery, extra missions, a sound gallery, an encyclopedia for noobs, and more. After every mission you complete (whether it be story mode or the mission mode) you get SP (SEED Points) to buy the MS, partners, and extras.
Overall (not an Average): 7.5/10
In Closing: VERY Underrated game. AWESOME game for mech and Gundam fans. Never Ending Tomorrow = Never Ending Destruction!
