Story mode is very addictive! i had to beat this game and i did. It took somewhat skill and part luck...I find that some battles your Team AI just doesnt feel like fighting and get blown up not knowing what happened...and other rounds u can sit there and they annhilate emeny forces without even lifting a finger.

Gamplay is sluggish...somtimes your mobile suit wants todo one thing and you tell it todo another. Graphics are outdated and sound is dull.

Also most weapons are unbalanced and same with suits. If you play long enough and unlock the hovering Zeon suits i pretty much won the game just using it and dodging enemy fire using the strafe technique. With the rocket launcher equipped ur unstoppable b/c the hover suit doesnt need to kneel down to shoot while other suits have to stop and fire making it vulerable to getting attacked. Machine guns and other light guns are pretty much useless stronger mobile suits.

Difficulty gets damn hard once youve beaten the game once and have todo it all over again...The suits you unlock are definately worth playing for.

Great fun old style mech combat simulator...Played it for several hours and inexpensive purchase makes it a great value.
