A nice kart racing game, but long load times and unfairly challenging AI deprive the game of everlasting success.

When I played the demo, I thought that this game was extremely awesome, fun, entertaining, and very unique. I bought the game a few weeks later, and it held the same impression that it gave me from the demo. But the full game opened my eyes on some negative things the game has to offer.

PROS:
-Gives you the liberty to create people, karts, and tracks to use and upload.
-Fantastic and fun online
-Listening to the announcers bicker is sometimes hilarious
-Obtaining the Trophies add tons more replay value than the game already offers

CONS:
-Long load times
-Unfairly challenging AI
-Using your shield eats up a crapload of your Boost Meter

The fact that the game lets you create makes it superior to most kart racers. It is always fun to make mods and karts, but making tracks are the best. The online modes are so awesome that they will keep you playing for hours. The announcers are also very funny, for one hates the other. The Trophies you can get are sometimes very fun to obtain, and they add to the replay value.

The loading times tick me off a little bit, but they aren't as bad as some people say. The AI, on the other hand, make this game not as much fun. At the start of the Career mode, the game seems nice, fair, and fun, but later on, it just gets annoying. Also, some off the objectives in each race take tons of tries to get, which is frustrating. Your shielding capabilities are also deprived when you need it sometimes, for you shield unfairly eats up tons of your Boost Meter. And when you use your shield, only to turn around and need to use it again is a total pain when you don't have enough boost to use it. That results in the Computer players surpassing you, which is sometimes unbearably frustrating.

Well, I don't hate the game, I just hate the AI. If Sony makes a sequel to this, they'll have to improve some things, like lower the AI's difficulty, cut the load times in half, and make your shield not use as much boost. All in all, the game is worth the buy, just keep in mind of the D*MN Artificial Intelligence!
